About Me

My passion for photography started many years ago but only really took hold in December 2008 when I purchased my first DSLR. I have been involved in Hillclimbing for about 14 years and at the beginning of the season in 2009 I was fortunate enough to be able to sign on as media at my three favourite haunts. During the year I learnt so much thanks to the expert tution of Alistair Watson and Richard Sloman (http://www.richardsloman.com) who without their patience and invaluable experience I would not have reached the standard I am at now. It is now through encouragement that I have decided to showcase my images and thus my new website has been born.

Throughout the off season I have also photographed wildlife at Slimbridge Wetlands Trust in Gloucestershire and pestered my daughter and her friends to do photo shoots with me. Fortunately none of them are camera shy and ask when I will be doing the next photo shoot and can their friend/Mum come along.

This year has seen me challenged time and time again with new photographic experiences and settings, all of which have given me much pleasure.

This website is testament to those that believed in my abilities and their patience and wealth of knowledge without which I would still be using my camera on auto and for which I will be eternally grateful.
